One day,
When it all changes
I'll be
Brilliantly British.
Smelling
Of lavender and toffee,
Residing
Between times.
Perhaps
Close to the Temple gardens
Or even
Christchurch Greyfriars.
Maybe
Having a little
Shop of books
And knitted stuff
Full of notebooks
Yarns and quills
Books
On Victorian era.
One day
You'll see
I'll be
Brilliantly British.
Working for
Penhaligon's
As the main
Storyteller.
Or simply
Wearing their
Scents
On my Victorian coat.
One day
I'll have a cat
Called
Monty.
And would teach
People
To read cards
And hear voices.
One day
They'll call me
Wonderfully crotchety.
And they'll be right.
One day.
I'll be
Brilliantly
British.
You'll see.
Let it be my
Birthday wish.
A mnoemic poem!
Love this...Except for the yarn and knitting, I would have loved similar. I wished you a happy birthday on Facebook and, now, here again. 🎉✨🎶🎂🥂
