If I may, I am in the midst of writing a play that features a character drenched in the archetype that is Persephone. I find that this is not coincidental. I am currently reading Tennessee Williams' Orpheus Descending, too. Isn't it odd that like things seem to seek each other out? Resonance or attraction or something.

Love the contrapasso of "...I shall raise the eternity, and make it crumble." A passage allowing a ride up and down, but a ride recognizable...we all know of such situations, where one contradicts the other, no?

You are a tireless worker! I love that! Send me some of that energy, ok?

Peace and Power!

I operate on exhaustion, G.F.X. Honestly. Descending into the underworld usually comes with grey hair and physical weakness. The price Orpheus pays daily for doing what he does. I have several things here about him, might help:)

May Persephone bless you on your way. She loves being invoked this way. Should you need any assistance in your writing her, let me know:)

This piece feels like a call to action for those who have been silenced, and your words really resonate. I am sure that this will stick with me long after the initial reading.

When I was writing it it felt like 50% vow and 50% invocation.

I feel that comes through powerfully. The vow giving it such strength and the invocation drawing something ancient and urgent to the surface. Really glad you shared it.
