Aneirin always fascinated me. A legendary Bard, he was a peer of Taliesin, and the author of Y Gododdin- an epic, mysterious poem that still sparks debate. Of the two, Aneirin is closer to me.
Whilst that sounds lovely (depending on the music of course!), I have a strong feeling that a simple vocal performance would work really well. The language is expressive, and the rhythms serve the poems well… there’s a challenge for you 😀
I like I AM. It makes me think of a song by The HIghwaymen called, I think, The Highwayman (that is incidental... it just does). The dark and rhythmic ones play best for me.
Your poetry deserves to be spoken aloud.
This is too kind of you, honestly. I'll try. One of my poems has a musical rendition. I tried attaching it here but it didn't work.

Right. I'll do my best.
Also... The Wanderer...
Have you considered making audio of you reading your poetry?
I have, but I've been vocally unstable since covid (2 of them), bronchitis and the other thing. I might do a voiceover though.
Goosebumps.
Thanks. I got them too.
