Helena,

I won't pretend I know how it feels, because I don't.

But I can sense that just as it can get very heavy weighting a lot on your body and soul, you are rolling your sleeves up and staring into the eye of it. Extremely powerful. ✨

All I can think it would be wonderful if in the tough times you could be surrounded by softness outside and inside. Sounds controversial? I don't know.

But if you need a virtual holding arm and a warm cosy blanket around you, let me know.🤗

I admire your dedication to yourself and the ones, who will feel less alone with their similar experiences after reading this post. You are amazing! Lots of love your way! ❤️

I can't say I know how depression feels but when I'm down I try to be creative. It's the only thing that keeps me sane. This medium has also helped me to keep a distance from meaningless social media platforms the past couple of months and to meet wonderful, creative people.

Anyhow, you're not alone in this and you matter. I hope you'll seek help and feel better soon.

I try that too. Depression has cycles. Ups and downs. When you're at the low point, exhaustion usually kicks in. Fatigue. It's just a phase, so...well, I wait till I am.more alive. Thank you for being there.

I hope you will not. I hope you get a treatment that helps, a diagnosis that explains, and the support system you deserve. And I hope that in your darkest you will find a strength to find your way through the tangled wiring of the brain while your body protects your life. I have been there Helena, 3 times, each more profound each deeper as the brain ill with depression creates neural pathways leading to the dark place faster. And there's light after the dark night of the soul. I do hope not from poetic but practical point of view that you're not alone in this even if it feels lonely. Because it fucking does.

Thanx you. I've been in that dump of a condition since my second year of university, which was 2008. Sometimes it's easier to manage, but sometimes it's a wee bit harder. I'm surrounded by people, but loneliness hits the hardest when you can't even pull yourself together to explain how it feels.
